School: TJH Dance and Fitness

Tara Jane Horne began dancing at the age of three and performed in many national competitions, at 16 she left home to undertake three years of intensive training, graduating with high level ISTD Associates. Following graduation Tara danced professionally in Denmark, Portugal and Japan.

Returning from her travels she began teaching in 1990 as assistant teacher at one of the largest dance schools in Milton Keynes; where many of her former pupils have successfully gained places at some of the top performing arts colleges and gone on to dance professionally around the world, teach dance and appear in the West End and on TV. Tara also gained her registered teacher status with both Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance.
In 2000 Tara relocated to the Midlands with her family teaching at a full time dance college and opened her own school under the name of TJH Dance Academy.

Along side teaching Tara has also been working in the fitness industry for the last 10 years attaining her Pilates and fitness qualifications, instructing at several leading chain and hotel clubs, progressing into Leisure Management at some of the highest profile health clubs in the Midlands.
